Andrea Tyler has been practicing as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist since 2011 and a Credentialed Diabetes Educator since 2017. Having graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology and the University of Technology Sydney with a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management, she is uniquely placed to assist her patients to achieve sustainable lifestyle changes.
Andrea has a passion for using exercise as a tool in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases and her experience spans across a variety of areas including weight management, cardiovascular disease, diabetes and PCOS as well as musculoskeletal rehabilitation. In addition to private practice, Andrea also works in public health providing acute treatment to patients with cardiovascular disease and heart failure including pre and post-heart transplant. She is also a sessional lecturer at the Australian Catholic University, educating students enrolled in the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
As a busy mum of 3, she understands the struggles of balancing work, family commitments and health. Andrea’s biggest strength is working with each person to overcome previous barriers to exercise, finding a solution to achieve set goals and developing a plan that is enjoyable and able to be maintained.
